When I first saw this project, I thought of doing something that involved a darkened room. Then I thought of how small and lonely the room was and how it would be the place someone would squirrel away to when they missed their loved one. The light affect is one I use often and I think it works well in this piece. Thankfully my sweetie is sitting right next to me. Though, I think I've spent my fair share of time as that poor emote all alone. ***  As with all of my smileys, you may use it on and off dA, without my permission. The only thing I ask is that you keep the file name in tact and don't remove any credit information. If you do use it for something, it would be nice if you could comment and let me know. It encourages me to make more smileys if I know people are using/enjoying them. *** |

it's just finding one I want to take part in that's the difficult part
It does me the world of good though, as it motivates me to draw stuff and FINISH it
a talent that I find hard to possess at the best of times!

I couldn't even do pixel art until a few months ago,
my first few attempts wouldn't even be classed as pixel art
because I was pretty much just drawing with the pencil tool XD
I like to line up all my pixel art in order of newest to oldest so that I can see how much I've changed
It feels like everytime I attempt it I get a litte bit better ^__^

For me it was *snut's gallery that made me want to learn how to pixel
I really like how she has her own "style" at pixeling, like when you see it you instantly know that it's her work
I'd love to have my own individual style of art so that it's easily recognised as my own work,
So I guess that's my longterm DA goal!
