As promised...

Recently, I was working on my Wordpress blog and wanted to get a set of emotes/smileys to replace the default ones. Problem is, I couldn't find a lot of packs out there, and the ones I found I didn't like that much. Also, the main key was that I wanted static ones. Not finding anything, I decided to create some myself.

All of these smileys are hand-pixelled, using my original smiley base/shading. I wanted to create fun, smiley versions of the basic core Wordpress set in the classic yellow coloring. My faves are the "confused", "eek" and "evil." I do intend to animate this set eventually.

While these were created with Wordpress in mind, the file includes 22 individual emotes which can be freely used in chats, forums, etc. The pack includes the required Wordpress files, plus a general Readme file with terms of usage. Note that the files are named according to the default names of the Wordpress smilies, so you can simply upload these into the directory and they will replace the current set and should work fine.

These are awesome, thanks for the free use. I've been looking for a simple, uncomplicated, free-use pack like this everywhere. I'd like to use it in sms'

I'm glad you like it. Yes, I like uncomplicated emotes myself, so it was my motivation in making this. Cute but simple!
