Note that this project is open-ended. I will continue to add rows as needed. I don't plan to close this anytime soon.

My youngest daughter, Violet, was the inspiration for this project. Create a scene from a classic children's story. This can include nursery rhymes, such as "Mary Had a Little Lamb", or Mother Goose type stories like "The Three Little Pigs." Fairy Tales like "The Princess and the Pea" would also work in this project. The whole project is meant to look like a book, thus the title and subtitle.

Rules and Guidelines:

You may pick any classic character/theme you like. Repeats are okay. So, don't be intimidated if someone's already taken the character you wanted. You can do the same rhyme--see what you can do to make it different!

You must use the template located here ---> [link] . The way the project is set-up is so that it looks like pictures on a storybook page, so the border around the image is important.

Images must be static (not animated/moving).

The only art rule is that you must have at least one emote character in the deviation.

Anyone can participate! Don't feel you are not good enough. I love to see different styles and interpretations.

IMPORTANT -- All pictures must be family-friendly. No violence or disturbing images. Your picture must be safe viewing for even young children.

You can have as many entries as you like.
