This is a project I have been wanting to start for several months, but never got around to it. However, recently I saw a couple other deviants create pieces with pixel/emoticon cars and it inspired me to finally post it.

This is a bit of an extension of my Emoticon Lane project. [link] This is the Emoticon Highway. It's a multi-leveled highway that is in the middle of a serious construction-related traffic jam. The goal of the project is to fill it with pixel cars, trucks, and other types of vehicles (use your imagination).

Rules:

Because the size of vehicles may vary, there is no template. Entries must have a transparent background. If you really can't do a transparency, create the piece with a solid white background and I will make it transparent.

You can design the vehicles any way you want (but no adult-themes thankyouverymuch). I have created 3 stock cars you can use or modify for your entry. Since there is a traffic jam, you can add details to your piece, such as construction cones, bored drivers sitting on their cars, whatever.

If you can't draw a pixel vehicle, you can still add to the project by creating other elements such as background elements (buildings, clouds, birds, small-ish vehicles in the sky).

Your entry MUST include at least 1 emote. The emote can be inside or outside of the car. You may use stock emotes. Here's a great one [link]. You can find more packs at #Pack-it-in

Well start off with a max of 3 entries per deviant, but that may change depending on how well the project goes.

Please COMMENT on this journal with your entries as I have a problem with dA Notes. This project will usually be updated when there have been several entries posted.

More levels will be added as necessary. Also, I won't reserve spaces. I usually keep my projects open for 6+ months, so if you want to join just submit when you have an entry.
