My girls love the Powerpuff Girls. My oldest watched it when it was actually on the air, and now my little ones watch them non-stop on DVD. One of the episodes features the PPG singing a song, "La La Love". I can't tell you how many times my daughters go around the house singing that, which inevitably leads to it getting stuck in my head.

I have been wanting to do emote versions of the PPG for a while. I made them on the larger side because I wanted to get as much of the detail in as possible. Since the "La La" song was in my head, I decided to do a stamp with that theme.

I tried to animate this, but the space is so full, any motion made it look like the girls were bumping into each other. So, I decided to leave it static. Also, the coloring/minimal shading was deliberate to replicate the look of the show.

I haven't released the individual PPG emoticons, but if there is an interest, I'll do it in a pack or something.
