Another stamp! After a bunch of pixels. I think I'm getting my groove back!
This is a stamp I wanted to do a few days ago, but there was a DD 6-word story with a similar theme. I was fearful people would feel I stole the idea. This is actually one I've had for a while, and it's similar to this shirt design which is very cool ---> [link]
I should note, I'm not of the radical thinking that women have to be super-powered and always be the dominant one--and can't be a bit helpless sometimes. I don't think a woman should never have a man help her. I quite like having my knight in shining armor swoop in to rescue me. But I also think it's important to be strong enough to save yourself, if you need to.
Anyhow, I've done a dragon before, and even a similar pose to this for my emote journal, but had to modify it all heavily for this piece. Had to create a flying dragon snorting fire and do the sword animation. I didn't want to make the piece too complicated, though, as I felt minimal animation would work best.
Boy, was it a challenge doing that tiny castle in the background--and most of it is obscured. I may upload it on its own later.
Oh, and I specifically created the medieval-inspired stamp base (which is slightly scalloped) for this piece.

*** Terms of Usage *** As with most of my pixel work, you may use this on and off deviantART, without my permission. The only thing I ask is that you keep the file name in tact and don't remove any credit information. Also, if you use, let me know as it encourages me to make more free-use art.
This image is now available for limited commercial use. You may not re-distribute or sell this image. However, it may be used as site decoration, such as on forums, in chats, or in a similar manner. Please see [link] (this page) for full details.
For a while deviants without a subscriptions could not. But now, dA allows them to be used in journals. Just cut-and-paste the thumbcode (located in the bar to the right of the deviation) into your journal box or ID and you'll be able to post your stamp!
Just wanted to note that now, anyone can use stamps in their profiles, journals, etc. regardless of whether they had a premium. If you knew this already, sorry for wasting your time.
