This past couple of weeks has been rough. Lots of IRL stuff kicking my butt, money and family woes, and online drama. Through this all, I have been very lucky to have a few very good and close friends who have been there to help me through. (Including a dear friend who gifted me money so I could pay a past-due bill.

)

I don't have a lot of friends. Honestly. I never have. In school I was a total outcast. Later in life, it seemed that many of the friends I made were not true friends, and more than a couple backstabbed me. Nevertheless, through it all, there were always a few real friends that stuck by me and supported me, even when most others didn't. Each one of those people is so dear to me. Sure, it's nice to have a lot of friends, but I would far rather have a few very good friends who will be there for me than a lot of fair-weather friends who don't seem to be around when things get rough.

I may not be the most popular person, but I do have some very good and close friends here on dA. You all know who you are. Just know I totally love and appreciate you and cherish your friendship and support.
