My kids love my emote journal. They look at it all the time. What turned out as a little dA project has become something very beloved to my family. It's really neat and I'm so thankful I started it. I'm sure I'll finish through this year and start another one next year. :eager:

Anyhow, as my kids were looking at the journal once again, my youngest daughter requested this entry be made. It's gotten cold around here. Last week we found an amazing deal on some super-soft blankets. We bought one for every kid as a little surprise. I think when you don't have a lot of money, you appreciate things more. My kids were really over-the-moon and excited to get them. Yeah, by blankets. :D But they wanted me to pixel it out so they could remember it.

Also, the week involved a lot of fiction writing by me and *Ravenswd -- along with our daughter, *randomypurple. We are so excited to have kids who love writing like we do! I have to admit, writing has been a huge refuge to me these past few weeks and has really helped me focus past the daily crud of life and the online drama. :heart:

Yes . . . suddenly in the last two days. Halloween was amazingly pleasant, but the cold hit right when November started.

We also have same or similar blankets they are really good wen you want to watch TV in the evening.
I agree with you wen you don't have money you apriciate the stuff that you have more.
