Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

That's how long I've been around, give or take a few leap days. Before you get out a calculator, that makes me 41 today. I certainly don't feel old, even though I think I'm near the "middle-aged" designation. I have nothing big planned to celebrate. I'm actually pretty "meh" about my birthday, as I generally don't like people making a fuss over me. But they continue to do it anyway, so a few years ago I stopped fighting it and try to enjoy it as much as I can. It's pretty cool being born on Cinco de Mayo. I probably could get a free margarita if I went out to a Mexican restaurant to eat, but I never do. Instead, I'm making homemade flautas (which some of you call taquitos) and other Mexican sides. I like cake, but am opting to have chocolate shakes. Then I'll collapse in a full-tummy stupor until I have to wake up for work on Friday. Wish me luck!

Art-wise I've been bouncing all over the place. I have to get back to dolling as I still owe a couple of gifts/prizes on my Alt account. I have a couple of emotes pieces on the backburner, so hoping I can get to those soon. I have been having fun making chat-friendly emotes as of late, but I really miss my more detailed emote-art pieces. So, expect to see a few works along those lines in the near future.

Mother's Day is Sunday and I would like to take a moment an wish all of the lovely moms/mums out there a wonderful and relaxing day.

I'm gonna save the contest features for next week. Just a couple of small artist features. See you all in 7!

As many of you know, I have a special love for making pixel fonts. Well, part of that has come from admiring wonderful font creations over the years. One of the artists who inspired me (and still does) is ~jelloween. She recently returned from a long hiatus, and I couldn't be happier! Her fonts are simply amazing--and she has the DDs to prove it. And, unlike me, she creates standard fonts as well. If you love typefaces, then you really need to check out her gallery. She has some amazingly cute pixels too, which are alone worth a look.
