I came home from vacation a week ago and immediately got sick--and have been sick ever since.  I got better mid-week, but re-caught whatever.  This morning I was running a 102 fever.  As sick as I've been, I've done little digital art.  I can't seem to see the colors right with oozey eyes and such.  So, things still stand on the to-do list.  I really hope I get better soon.

That said, this past week I started to use my dAmn chatroom. I have admitted often, I don't feel comfortable going into most of the rooms here on dA.  I feel like an intruder, like I'm crashing the party, like the teacher who walks into the room and everyone gets quiet.  But opening my own chat was wonderful.  I am so thankful for so many of you who came by to chat.  We talked of pizza and vampires and art and other silliness.  We even managed to talk about my Relativity series a wee bit.  As I feared, though, chatting is time-consuming and I simply can't do it often, but I hope to have a small chat session weekly to connect with my fans.  It was amazing getting to know you better, and I thank everyone who took the time to drop by. (I usually announce chats using a poll, so keep an eye out for times.)

While I couldn't do pixel-art, I was able to do some writing.  I also participated in the Word-Wars chat at #WritersInk.  At this time, I seem to be spending a wee bit more time on my Alt account, so if things are quiet here, check over there.  You may see something that interests you.

I am going to be totally honest.  I spent 2 days gathering a list of emoticonists and friends birthdays from late December to the present, for my birthday balloon emotes.  There are no complete lists, I missed a week on dA when I was on vacation, and dAemotes doesn't list them anymore.  Anyhow, I thought I had them mostly and was happy, then my computer ate the file.  Honestly, I nearly cried.  So, I am going to come forward.  If you had a birthday during that time, or know of someone who did, PLEASE post here.  I am so demoralized, I just don't have the energy to put a list together again.  I really want to make these gifts because I know a few people are/were really looking forward to them.  So, don't be shy, I WANT to know.  Post it here cuz I'd love to finally get caught up this week.  Otherwise, if you don't post, I'll catch you around next year.

I think there is more, but my head is foggy.  So, I shall do a few features and call it a week.
