Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

I'm still sick, but seem to be on the mend now. Please just keep your fingers crossed that the meds work. For now, i"m trying to get back up to speed. Hope to tackle my messages today and tomorrow. Again, thank you for all the birthday and get-well wishes, as well as the many gifts. I feel so bad for being behind. Rest assured, my personal comments and messages are coming soon.

On a positive note, I feel cracks in the writer's block, so I hope to be more active soon. This was one of the longest and broadest blocks, so I'll be happy when it's behind me.

The one thing about being sick is weird dreams. Boy, have I had a plethora. Anyone have any bizarre dreams lately they'd like to share?

Oh my, I've had TONS of weird dreams recently. I can't remember most of them, but one of them I can always remember. Apparently I was in some weird place where absolutely everything was red and people were laughing at me because I was all blue? When I woke up I checked to make sure I wasn't blue xD.
