Double, Double, Toil and Trouble

What's New

:sleepy: Been just generally busy lately.  Not a lot to report.  Baby is getting bigger, life it still hectic, and I cannot believe the holiday season is upon us again! Time just flies, I swear.

:ashamed: Behind in emotes again, but I will admit, I'm kinda holding back.  NaNoEmo is right around the corner and I kinda wanna save my emoting muse for the month-long event.  I will be catching up my emote journal this weekend, and perhaps a stamp that I have popping around my brain.  But major emoting will hold off until the 1st.  After that? Daily (I hope) emote spam!

:mwahaha: I have Halloween-ized my profile.  Do you like it?

:salute: Honestly, is that it?  I guess so.  Will keep it short, then.  See you all next time!

Halloween Emotes

Since Halloween is upon us (and since I'm gonna feature holiday pixels in my article this weekend), I'm gonna totally pimp some of my own spooky emotes and such here.  Have fun looking and using!

I'm still not sure I'll be able to participate in NaNoEmo... if only college works weren't starting to kick in...
And I might just steal your profile's Halloween background and use it as my laptop's desktop image. Nah, just kidding xD It's pretty adorable though.
And :thumb182619962: just made me laugh so hard x'D I can totally get back to working on my college paper now, I feel much less stressed out after that.

You act like it's the end.
The trick to survival is not to freak. You freak, you make mistakes.

Be prepared.
Always have a reserve/cation of food, especially dried goods/canned goods. Ramen noodles store very well, and are usually good 2 months after the expiration date also, if stored properly.
Keep a carton of sealed & bottled water around. Distilled water stores best, but drains your electrolytes, so you must have a good supply of sodium, magnesium & Potassium around.
If you are combating a winter storm, use it to your advantage. If you have no electricity, refrigerated goods can be stored outside.
Always have an alternate way to stay warm. If you don't have an emergency heater, bulk up on clothes/blankets.

Those are a few tips to survive.
