Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

12 Years!

I was 30 years old when dA first opened. I wasn't a part of the community back then, but kinda wish I had been. Either way, I'm so happy I found this site. Lots of fun activities planned by staff; I hope everyone has fun. Our houseguest arrives today, so sadly I won't be around much. I'll peek in when I can.

Personal Stuffs

We've been in deep cleaning mode around here, awaiting the arrival of *RandomyPurple's boyfriend from the UK. It's exciting, but stressful as we try to get everything done.

I'm very pregnant right now and getting big and slow. Baby is due in the next month and a half, but I usually go early, so we'll see how that goes. Thanks to everyone for your continued support.

Still hot as heck in these parts. Can't wait until Fall! Ugh.

I'm excited to announce that `Gomotes has started a new emoticon group. #dAemoticons hopes to re-ignite and re-unite the emoticon community. This is an endeavor I think is much-needed, and I think `Gomotes is just the person to do it. Ernie is a long-time emoticonist and was one of my internet inspirations before I started making smileys or joined dA. I hope to become an active member of the group once my life settles a bit (i.e. after baby is here). Be sure to visit the group and show it some love. FINALLY! We have officially announced the 2nd Annual Relativity Contest. Three Categories to enter, lots of prizes, and a bunch of fun. For more info, check out this journal. Oh, and any pimpage of this contest will be greatly appreciated.

Spotlight Features 9 will publish Monday or Tuesday. Still not sure if I'm changing the daily publish date permanently or not, but we'll see over the next few issues.
