Poll Features
It is widely known that many famous artists, composer, and authors have had the frustration of having a work they felt was sub-par gain huge popularity while pieces they worked harder on and adore sat un-noticed. This is the same for everyday deviants. I recently ran a poll asking for deviants to share with me their thoughts on this and share their own art. Spotlight Interview

_{In this series, I hope to introduce the community to some artists who have been around dA for a while, but are still relativity unknown. The interviews are meant to be short and sweet. I encourage you to check out the artist's full gallery and add them to your devWatch.}

Could you introduce yourself and tell us a little about yourself and your dA life?

Hello, I am =pixiepot (obviously

) and I have been a member of deviantART for around three years now. I have a blog and am currently writing a novel.

What would you say your main artform is? Secondary?

I'd say that as of late, my literature has pushed that little further and become my main art form where my secondary art form is definitely digital art (though I don't upload much of it onto deviantART).

When did you start pursuing your art? What prompted you to?

I've always love to draw and write, ever since I can remember. I think my biggest push has been the realisation that it won't be long until I have to put the plans for my career that I've had since I was about seven into action and that I have to work if I want a good career, it won't just fall from the sky.

What is your favorite piece in your gallery at the moment?

PrologueWilliam Ray lay in bed, still wide awake and staring at the ceiling, he began to think about his most recent recurring dream. It had to mean something, didn't it? His father once told him that everything means something, even the most minor of things. William was now debating whether or not his father had spoken the words of a truthful man or not.

There was a part of him that wanted to sleep to revisit the dream, yet the other part of him told him not to. The part that dismissed sleep told him to think instead and that maybe if he just thought, if he didn't sleep, the answer would come to him in time. As he thought, he grew even more tired;

In general, what is your favorite thing to create (i.e. fan-art, poetry, etc)?

To be honest, I just love to write and draw in general. Though I am keen to work on my novel-related artworks.
