A new series that will feature art selected by me. There will be a wide range of themes and genres covered. In addition, there will be periodic interviews and artist spotlights. This article will be also be the home of my upcoming "Awesome dA Artist" feature, which is a re-birth/re-imagining of my "Awesome Emoticonist" award.
Daily Features
On my profile page, I feature a new deviation every day (or two or three). The piece is usually something that caught my eye. Could be an amazing digital painting, a fun stamp, a quick photograph that made me smile, perhaps a piece for a weekly theme, whatever. However, it moved me enough to share it with my visitors. Below is a list of the artists which I featured during January 2011. I am showcasing different pieces from their gallery in the hope of showing them a bit more love. If you would like to see the original piece I featured of each of these artists, please visit this folder.

Spotlight Interview
In this series, I hope to introduce the community to some artists who have been around dA for a while, but are still relativity unknown. The interviews are meant to be short and sweet. I encourage you to check out the artist's full gallery and add them to your devWatch.
Hello, I am =pixiepot (obviously
I'd say that as of late, my literature has pushed that little further and become my main art form where my secondary art form is definitely digital art (though I don't upload much of it onto deviantART).
I've always love to draw and write, ever since I can remember. I think my biggest push has been the realisation that it won't be long until I have to put the plans for my career that I've had since I was about seven into action and that I have to work if I want a good career, it won't just fall from the sky.

PrologueWilliam Ray lay in bed, still wide awake and staring at the ceiling, he began to think about his most recent recurring dream. It had to mean something, didn't it? His father once told him that everything means something, even the most minor of things. William was now debating whether or not his father had spoken the words of a truthful man or not.
There was a part of him that wanted to sleep to revisit the dream, yet the other part of him told him not to. The part that dismissed sleep told him to think instead and that maybe if he just thought, if he didn't sleep, the answer would come to him in time. As he thought, he grew even more tired;
To be honest, I just love to write and draw in general. Though I am keen to work on my novel-related artworks.
Hmm...just three? I could write a long list.

Special Feature
I have been doing some (dark) poetry on my `mirz-alt account. A recent piece I did had a line about a damsel having having tea with a dragon. So, with that, here are some pieces inspired by that theme:
