I'm feeling a little better. Not perfect. I realize now the biggest source of my stress has been a huge 2-do list, some of which has been plaguing me for months. I still have a lot to do, but getting a few key pieces off has helped a lot to get my spirits a bit higher. I still am stressing though, so much I'm not sleeping well. But, it's the old adage: "How do you eat an elephant?" -- "One bite at a time." I have to keep picking at it and hope I get through it eventually.

A good thing is I've cut my message center in half. Hope to get through the rest over the next day or two.

In related news, we are readying our house from a visit from my daughter's BF from England. He's coming next week and we're all very excited. We're also going to take a bit of a road trip when he's here, to show him some of the US sights. Wish us luck as we get things together. Also, because of that, my internet time may be sporadic. Just so you know.

I did a poll on this, but I am hosting an OC 6-word Story Project on my Alt account. It has had a really great start. So check it out. And if you have an OC, whether Lit, Emote, or just for fun, consider joining.
And don't forget my contest--details below.
Your OC's Story in a 6-Word Story - ProjectThis is a project that is open to anyone who has an OC (Original Character) or FC (Fan Character). It was inspired by a personal challenge where I pushed myself to tell my OC's story using a 6-word story. I realized it would be a great exercise for authors, as well as a fun way to introduce your character to the great dA audience--and a fun and easy way for others to discover your character.
The project is very simple. Create a 6-word story for your OC. It doesn't necessarily have to focus on their origin, it could be their motivation for everything they do in their life. It could describe the

A reminder. I post a new daily feature every day on my page. While some of the artists are well-known, I do make an effort to feature under-appreciated artist. Be sure to check them out if you get a chance. A fave, or better yet a comment, on the pieces you like is always appreciated by the artists.
Two Pieces of News Worth mentioning/repeating:

Momma--G is back! Many of you know that aside from emotes, I also do smilies. Well, Momma is one of my all-time faves and one of the reasons I got into emoting in the first place. Her work is beautiful and so much different than what you normally see in smilies. Not to mention, she's just a lovely person. So, go and give her lots of love and weclome her back. And if you don't watch her, you need to...NOW!

Sorry you've been feeling down, I find that a massive to do list can be stressful too. I'm trying to cut myself some slack and just do what I feel able to though.
I love your daily feature idea, it's so sweet.

Well I know McKenzie and Eliza love me, and my OCs, and my mum....
