Daily Features
On my profile page, I feature a new deviation every day (or two or three). The piece is usually something that caught my eye. Could be an amazing digital painting, a fun stamp, a quick photograph that made me smile, perhaps a piece for a weekly theme, whatever. However, it moved me enough to share it with my visitors. Below is a list of the artists which I featured during October 2012. I am showcasing different pieces from their gallery in the hope of showing them a bit more love. First off, could you give us a brief introduction of yourself?
Yo! <3 My name is Kristen, but most people know me as Bliss. I'm eighteen years old and live in the U.S.A.
What gave you the idea to register with your username?
BlissfullySarcastic was a pen name of mine, and this account was originally for lurking and writing, so I figured I'd use the same name. Oxymorons...fun stuff.
How has deviantART changed your life?
I've never really thought about it. Huh.
It glued me to my computer, if that counts as changing my life. It taught me how to trollolololo

RandomEmoteAwesomeness-Vol 15Volume 15 in the series that showcases a random variety of emoticons: some old, some new, some by seasoned emoticonists, some by new artists. There's no real rhyme or reason as to which pieces are featured. Sometimes I pick a theme such as animals, other times it's just whatever strikes my fancy. Below are the current group of awesome emotes hand-picked by me (and sometimes a guest).
Much like the title, this News feature will publish a bit randomly. Maybe weekly, maybe every third Thursday, maybe three days in a row--but always hopefully at least once a month.

Emoticons are amazing, but their usage is not restricted to chats and forums. On dA, another popular usage is in stamps. Sized just right to work in the confines of a 99x56 space, emotes make fun and great additions to stamps and badges.

Awesome Emoticonist

_{Inspired by `ArtByCher's lovely "Random Acts of Kindness" gift, I have taken to honoring some of the outstanding dA emoticonists. Whether the emoticonist is heavily involved in the community, makes exceptional art that inspires other emoticonists, or is simply a kind deviant that helps and supports others, many of these individuals deserve a bit of additional recognition for their efforts. This award will be given out to 1-2 emoticonists a month as a special "thank you" for their work around the emoticon community. The emoticonist will be chosen by me, but may be recommended by other members of the community.}

The first badge for February 2012 goes to

^ladygagz is what I call a super-deviant. He has only been a part of the emoticon community a relatively short time, but his skills have advanced quickly and his works are fun and impressive. He is also an active part in the greater dA community, contributing to numerous groups and articles, as well as writing his own dA-Related series, in addition to other independent works. He endeavors to remain a positive force in the community, which is commendable, considering how drama-filled dA can be at times. He is a sincerely nice person and a good friend. All of these things and more make him an awesome emoticonist.
