When I was 16 years old, I peered over my classmate's shoulder during our class and found her on deviantART. Right off the bat, I was interested by the name. I later came back to the site and spent ages looking at fan art and fan fictions for Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X. At first, I would download the images and save them on my computer as screensavers and look at them in my Pictures folder on my computer. Then I decided to create an account.
On New Year's Day 2009, I set up this account at my grandmother's house, on my cousin's computer. The rest, they say, is history.
I found just by searching. One day was just searching for some fun (because I got bored),And then i type into a search art so one of the results were Deviantart.I click it and I saw how cool it was so i loged in
My brother and my friend were both already on dA, so I found out about it from them. Then my sister joined, and after seeing how cool the site really was and how much fun she was having with it, I decided to join, too.
Kind of Googled up an artist I like and "followed" her here. The rest is history, as they say. This was JUST the place I needed: not so much to share my mediocre arts (which have improved since then, as this place gave me incentive to improve), but to explore new art techniques, characters and mediums. I wouldn't be the artist I am today without DA. If I hadn't been a "Stinz" fan I wouldn't have found this site.
